SAET INDUCTION
Introduction
Annealing is a heat treatment process used to increase material ductility and reduce hardness. Induction is used to heat the material above its recrystallization temperature for the required amount of time.

Depending on the temperature and duration of the process, different ranges of hardness can be obtained in the material, allowing better adaptation to the specific requirements of subsequent machining operations.
In the case of this CV joint, case-hardened over their entire surface, it was necessary to reduce the hardness only of the thread.
The system presented heats the two parts at a time, using a dedicated single shot inductor. The temperature reached was defined in order to obtain the required hardness after the tempering process.
