Introduction

Black Annealing

The main goal of the tube annealing processes is the hardness decreasing (black and bright annealing).

Full body annealing is a generic heating process used for various applications ranging from API tubes quench and tempering, polyethylene coating of tubes for oil and gas, construction tubes painting, hardening, bending and swaging.

The black annealing in-line process is mainly used for various applications in these sectors: petrochemical, furniture, automotive, food and beverage.

Black Annealing

Stainless steel tubes, austenitic or ferritic, require full body heating to recover the original hardness.
The in-line process is mainly used with AISI 300, AISI 400, duplex, superduplex and titanium pipes for various applications.
The pipe is heated and then cooled by means of showers.

Key Advantages of Induction Black Annealing
1. Instant Operational Readiness (No Warm-up Time): induction systems offer immediate start-up capabilities.
2. Fast and Precise Process
3. Reduced Floor Space Required: floor space is a premium in any manufacturing facility. Induction annealing units are remarkably compact
4. In-Line System Integration
5. Easy Machine Set-Up
